What is cymatics?
The word cymatics is derived from two greek words 'kyma' meaning wave and 'ta kymatica' meaning 'matters pertainig to waves'.Cymatics refers to study about patterns produced when different frequencies of waves are passed through different mediums.Simply it is sound into vision.It was Hans jenny, who coined the term cymatics.He experimented sound frequencies on different medium such as sand, liquid, dust, milk etc.,

The most interesting fact we get to know is that the frequency of the sound "om" produces shri yantra, the symbol of Hindu tantra, which is based on the Hindu philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.
Sri yantra created in electronic vibration field, an experiment in the translation of sound into vision.
The another interesting fact is that the vowels of sanskrit is seen in vision when they are spelled. i.e the frequencies of the vowels creates their respective word.
